Artistic inspiration comes from many places. I believe that most artistic inspiration -- the need to create -- comes from within. Every artist has a muse or an image that speaks to them and allows them to create a personal language.

My image is the sky – with the power and spirit that it possesses. In my travels, I have encountered many places where the sky seems to envelop me. These places are my sources of inspiration. They provide the basis for my artistic vocabulary. Like many artists I have tried to paint the landscape, but I was never satisfied with the results. It wasn’t until turning my focus and energy skyward that I was able to achieve a personal satisfaction with my work.
